Can't seem to take a break from the tree

Genealogy seems to be the bug most of us have in our family

If you have any branches you'd like to add to our tree, please contact us!

Being a Gunter doesn't always come easy, as you probably already know!

The whole purpose of creating a website was with hopes and dreams of uniting and reuniting kin.

Our Gunter family is very diverse.  We have Cherokee & Irish bloodlines, some kinfolk have even called us "Black Dutch."  This family has survived some serious historical timelines from before and after the "Trail Of Tears."

We are a proud people who come from Cherokee Pioneers, Texas Cattlemen, Fighting Irish Emigrants in search of a new life, and don't y'all forget the Gunter Women aka "Backbone Of The Family."
